Gunung Jerai (Mount Jerai) is the highest peak in Kedah and the northern region of Malaysia at 1200 meters. You can drive up the mountain from Gurun. During the climb, you will arrive at the Sungai Teroi Forest Recreation. There is Forestry Museum, a forest park and a camping area. Driving on, you will reach a hotel. Before the hotel, there is a junction that will take you to the Telaga Tok Sheikh (The Sheikh's Well) and the Padang Tok Sheikh (The Shiekh's Field).
